I recently started prayer and was for a very long time unable to reconcile my distaste for organized religion and prayer. I have since reorganized my thinking and have embraced the possibility that prayer will loosen the shackles formed from the need to be in total control so the time.
Also, have you read “Time Warrior” by Steve Chandler. It’s awesome. I highly recommend it. It speaks to your new rule, “if I can do it now, I do it now”. I too need to adopt this rule. Looks like it’s helped you make incredible moves forward.
Yess my whole last post was about prayer and going through that same reconciliation. I haven't read Time Warrior but I'm gonna add it to my list. Thanks for the rec!
I often feel like I want to explore all the things for the sake of it (fellow Sagittarius here 😂). To your point of doing something now, when someone crosses my mind that has impacted me or made me feel a certain way I let them know right there and then (maybe through a video or voice note, text, email, whatever else). Because otherwise I could easily get distracted and not only forget to tell them, but also that feeling they made me feel will have probably passed.
The Sagittarius mind is a crazy chaotic wonderful place to live, but procrastination is our birthright I fear. I love the idea of telling people how you feel right away, that's such a beautiful practice and an amazing for of energetic giving that I'm sure is impacting people more than you know.
I really liked this post. My schedule is not as packed as you but I also have this "immobility" to get things done at times. I found a lot of my issues came from feeling like I have "no time" and just feeling a base line of stress and thus a fog to press go. Without getting too into it, I read The Stress Solution by Dr Rangan Chatterjee and it helped reframe how I get things done. I see a lot of overlap between his principles and what you're doing now for your quantum leap!
I'm gonna check this book out! Honestly I don't even feel like business or the amount of things someone has on their plate is the issue, it's all mindset like you said. And reframing can go such a long way. My best friend has 4 (!!) babies and runs her own business + is in a massive renovation project on a house. Yet when I'm with her she's completely present. Our mind is constantly playing tricks on us, and we can outsmart our negative thoughts!
